Shall we try this again?
OK, I have been most remiss in updating this journal. But summer has finally passed and I am determined to get back into the writing habit.
So I've decided to try to post something every time I log on, even if it's merely a Pittsburgh weather report. (70 degrees and sunny, incidentally)
I'm working on three different NCIS fics, and can't seem to let my creative side take over my body. Tried music. Tried re-watching the Season Two Opener (now that was a hardship!). Guess I could try writing until the drought breaks...
Speaking of weather, the last of the debris from my basement has just been hauled away. Yay! My little corner of Pittsburgh got struck by Ivan two weeks ago, and the basement took on a foot and a half of water. Sadly, this meant the demise of both the washer and dryer. Happily, they have both been replaced!
I can't find it in my heart to be sad about the flooding. 90% of the stuff we had stored down there was junk and needed to be thrown away, and all we had to do was bag it up and set it on the curb. Some guys from the borough came by every couple of days to haul it to the dumpsters. Hallelujah!!
