nofavesEarly Saturday evening, my beloved computer ate itself. It's pretty serious; it's either a motherboard malfunction or a corrupted BIOS, since it won't even recognize my hard drives are installed. I cannot fix it myself, nor do I want to blow a wad of cash on repairing a three-year-old system.
I headed to BestBuy today to see if they had a cheap tower that would replace my CPU until my tax refund comes in, but sadly, my computer picked the wrong week to stop taking amphetamines. No place that sells computers has inventory available until Tuesday, when Microsoft Vista is released. (Aside to![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)

So here I sit, posting from my father-in-law's system, wishing he had highspeed internet. I won't have net access until mid-week, and even then, I don't know if I'll have time to check my LJ. But I'll try.
